Superior quality isn’t our only goal…bringing you environmentally sound constructions is just as important to us. We take the time to choose the best materials and contractors for the job – and being “green” is part of our definition of best! We strive to minimize the environmental impact of all our buildings.

Design:
All material is ordered and manufactured to the exact sizes of the building blueprints and plans, allowing for very little excess waste. All excess packages, metal and wood are recycled at various facilities in our area.

Material Selection:
Since wooden posts serve as the foundation of our design, CB Structures purchases new supplies and lumber only from suppliers who encourage responsible forest management. The sheet metal used to encase our superior wooden poles has a recycled content of over 95% and comes in highly reflective colors to reflect most solar energy, resulting in less energy consumption to heat or cool the space below. We’re dedicated to purchasing all hardware from eco-friendly companies, from screws and nails all the way up to steel and gambrel roofs for your building. All of our chosen manufacturers and supply companies must pass our own personal “green” test to be involved with our projects.

Low Life-Cycle Costs:
Of course, going green means thinking past construction to the actual life cycle of the building. By incorporating higher efficiency appliances and reducing energy costs, CB Structures delivers a building that is eco-friendly and cost efficient with decreased operating and maintenance costs throughout building use. By installing efficient lighting, effective insulation via walls and windows, and reflective roof and insulated floor materials, CB Structures provides an affordable, eco-friendly building solution with low operational maintenance costs.
